Hey guys and gals! Make sure you pick up my March Issue for Blackmen’s Magazine! “Daphne Joy Leads the Pack!” I’m so absolutely pleased with my photos in this spread. I love the cover photo they chose, and the photos inside the magazine are even more amazing!

This was my 1st time shooting with Hasaan from Facet Studios ( @FacetStudios ) and he was in charge of my makeup and photography. Style credits to Ducky the Stylist and Hair by Christina Olsen ( @HairbyXtina ) . Also a big THANK YOU to Blackmens Mag editor, Marcus Blassingame and his entire team who made the decision to make my spread the cover shot

This is my 2nd cover with Blackmens magazine, my previous was a couple years ago for their first issue using a male celebrity with T.I. And even in that magazine, those photos were some of my favorite to date.

I’m so happy with these photos because we put in alot of work to get the shots! We shot in the middle of January in 30 degree weather at the beach, in pitch black darkness. We couldnt use too many lights because it would take away from the style of the photos, so it was dark, windy, and freezing and all the while I had to look sultry, calm, and warm! Not to mention I jumped into the water to get the final shots! But these types of photoshoots always result in a great outcome.

The issue is already out on stands now but is scheduled to debut everywhere March 1st!
